WHAT IS A DOULA?
A Birth Doula is a female support person who is specially trained to provide uninterrupted emotional and physical support throughout labor.
A Doula does not deter from the role of the father or other attendees at the birth, in fact a Doula enhances it and creates an atmosphere in which he
or they are able to concentrate on loving the mother.
